About the role

  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to drive long-term strategic evolution in automation, AI/ML, security, and energy efficiency.
  • Lead R&D innovation initiatives and take ownership of long-term technology roadmap.
  • Conduct customer demos and workshops; support industry collaborations and standardization frameworks.
  • Scout opportunities for experimental research projects; prepare and submit funding applications and research project proposals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional R&D teams to incubate strategic ideas, prototyping, and demos.
  • Conduct studies and analyses; contribute to future trends analysis and scout new technologies.
  • Support interactions with customers and provide pre-sales technical expertise.
  • Attend industry forums and drive contributions; participate in weekly alignment calls.
  • Contribute to dissemination and marketing activities and grow competence in microwave aspects over time.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in telecommunications, preferably in radio access or transport domains (2-3 years).
  • Knowledge of network transport technology, with focus on Network Management and automation, SDN, AI/ML, security.
  • Passion for technology and eagerness to learn about industry advancements.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office 365).
  • Good at communicating and advising business decision-makers.
  • Experience in interfacing and making presentations to customers.
  • Ability to prepare concise and insightful reports under time pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic approach to learning and contributing to team goals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Accountability and result-oriented, Strategic mindset.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as per project requirements.
  • Nice to have: Knowledge in radio access and transport technology; Previous experience as a Strategy Manager or Product Manager; Participation in telecom standards groups; Experience in research projects involving third parties; Capability to build business cases and interpret financial data; Business acumen.
