About the role
- Junior Marketing Associate for a digital marketing agency specializing in email and SMS marketing. Assisting in campaign execution and content creation while working closely with the CEO and other teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns, with a focus on email and SMS
- Work directly with the CEO on company marketing initiatives, including:
- Updating company website
- Sending out newsletters
- Engaging on social media
- Use ChatGPT and other AI tools to help craft compelling short-form copy for email subject lines, social media captions, ads, and more
- Help manage our email marketing content calendars and scheduling
- Research audience trends, competitor content, and campaign performance to inform strategy
- Support basic digital design work (e.g., banners, email graphics, social creatives) using tools like Canva or Figma
- Collaborate with our copywriters, designers, and campaign managers
- Provide general marketing support and jump in where needed
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or digital design
- Clear and concise writing skills — bonus if you’ve written for email or social
- Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar) is a plus
- Familiarity with project management software (ClickUp, Asana, etc.)
- Basic skills in Canva, Figma, Adobe, or similar design tools
- Comfortable experimenting with AI tools like ChatGPT
- Highly organized, with great attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Fluency in Tagalog is a plus (part of our team is based in the Philippines)!
- NYC-based, in-office Tues/Wed/Thurs every week
