About the role

• Junior Java Backend Developer creating scalable backend components in a CRM software company. Engage in product development with flexible working arrangements in Geisenhausen.

Responsibilities

• In the team you will develop robust, scalable and modern backend components in Java
• You will implement the technical foundation of our rapid-application platform
• You will integrate external services such as email, Exchange, authentication, etc., and contribute to the evolution of our service-oriented architecture
• You will take responsibility for testing your components (automated unit & integration tests)
• You will work closely with other development teams (Frontend, Cloud, AI)
• You will contribute across areas — we value a broad perspective and initiative, not just executing tickets

Requirements

• You have gained initial experience in backend development with Java, for example one to two years after university or during your apprenticeship as an IT specialist
• (Initial) experience with SQL databases (e.g. MS SQL, MySQL, or MariaDB) is a big plus
• You enjoy working with service-oriented architectures (SOA)
• You want to shape and contribute, not just maintain; you look for solutions where others see problems
• You speak fluent German (at least C1) — this is important for our team communication
• You are on-site 2–3 days per week in Geisenhausen — for collaboration, team cohesion and genuine dialogue
