Junior Financial Corporate Tax Consultant at PwC Belgium supporting tax provisions, returns, audits, and tax technology implementation for multinational clients.
Responsibilities
Help clients forecast and prepare corporate income tax provisions following IFRS, US GAAP, or Belgian accounting rules.
Support the preparation and review of Belgian corporate income tax returns.
Support preparation of other Belgian corporate income tax related formalities (e.g., fee forms 281.50, withholding tax formalities).
Provide advice to clients regarding new and proposed tax legislation and address national and cross-border tax issues.
Work on audits of income taxes for individual companies and multinational groups.
Help implement tax technologies (tax provisioning tools) and smart processes to modernise the tax function.
Analyse and apply new global tax rules like the Global Minimum Tax (Pillar Two) for multinationals.
Assist with tax audits and advise on international tax strategies and their impact on financial statements.
Collaborate in a dynamic, international environment to build expertise in tax and accounting with a tech-enabled approach.
Requirements
Finishing or recently finished a master’s in economics, tax, business engineering, business administration, law, or related field (bonus: second master or PhD with financial/economic focus).
Tax qualification is advantageous or willingness to pursue (evening classes).
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex ideas clearly.
Analytical problem-solving skills and enjoyment of teamwork.
Well-organised, able to handle deadlines, and take initiative.
Curious about tech and IT tools or eager to learn; familiar with AI and prompting.
Client-focused, responsible and professional.
Available to work from the Brussels office at least one day per week.
Fluent in Dutch and/or French, and English.
