About the role

• Linux IT-Systemadministrator ensuring stability and performance of matelso’s SaaS products in Kaiserslautern.”

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth operation of the entire matelso infrastructure
• Monitor the SaaS systems using central management tools (Zabbix, Nagios)
• Administer and configure network and server systems on Linux, including active network components
• Automate and orchestrate our processes on physical and virtual servers
• Perform supporting tasks in server operations and deployments, including trips to the data center
• Independently carry out projects in the infrastructure and operations environment
• Provide service-oriented and proactive collaboration with internal customers from development (DevOps)

Requirements

• Relevant completed degree or vocational training (e.g., IT specialist) with a suitable focus on IT administration for Linux
• Initial professional experience in supporting system landscapes
• Strong experience with Linux servers (Bash), Kubernetes and container environments, and network administration (routing & firewalls, RTP, Cisco, Mikrotik)
• Very good German and English language skills are required
