About the role

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to assess IT procurement needs and develop sourcing strategies aligned with business and technology goals.
  • Support Procurement team processes, including supplier reconciliation, identification, RFPs and RFIs, quotes and analysis.
  • Manage purchasing activities for hardware, software licenses, SaaS subscriptions, infrastructure, and managed IT services.
  • Reconcile invoices and payment requisitions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, monitor performance, manage contract renewals and compliance.
  • Track software licenses, service renewals, and maintenance agreements to ensure timely renewals and cost optimization.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and contract documentation using internal systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa, NetSuite).
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Finance and Legal stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with budget controls, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proactively resolve billing or documentation discrepancies with vendors and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to development, implementation and improvements of IT procurement operations, leveraging data, best practices and established standards.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and vendor consolidation.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field or have a minimum of 2+ years of applicable experience in a similar role.
  • 2+ years of applicable experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office & Google Workspace Application (Excel, Sheets, etc.)
  • Experience in preparing and presenting reports to support Leadership decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability in adhering to, developing and adapting business processes.
  • Ability to work onsite at least 3 days per week in Dallas, TX or Los Angeles, CA.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems (nice to have).
  • Professional certification such as CPSM, CPP, or ITIL Foundation (nice to have).
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure and Enterprise SaaS agreements (nice to have).
  • Working knowledge of IT products, licensing models, and cloud-based solutions (nice to have).
  • Experience working within an IT or Procurement team (nice to have).
