About the role

  • Director IT responsible for shaping IT strategy and overseeing ERP implementation for a leading service provider. Skilled leadership in digital transformation and IT governance essential.

Responsibilities

  • You design and own the IT strategy to enable increased scalability in line with the company’s Buy & Build strategy.
  • You manage a double-digit million euro budget and act as a strategic partner to the C-level.
  • You lead the consolidation of a heterogeneous system landscape into a centralized, company-wide ERP system and ensure smooth operations.
  • You lead and develop the IT department and act as a sparring partner for a team of IT specialists across areas such as Digital Transformation, System Administration, Security, Data Engineering, Support, and Project Management.
  • You establish robust IT governance that ensures SOX compliance, security, and data protection.
  • You serve as the central interface to all relevant stakeholders – from the C-level to the management of partner companies.
  • You play an active role in shaping post-merger integration, ensuring the IT-side onboarding of newly acquired companies.

Requirements

  • Several years of leadership experience in a senior IT role, ideally within dynamic, growth-oriented, and decentralized organizational structures.
  • Proven strategic expertise in international ERP rollouts (planning, coordination, implementation).
  • Strong knowledge of IT architectures, IT infrastructure, cloud services, and IT governance.
  • You see yourself as a strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality who acts entrepreneurially, works in a structured way, and can confidently communicate complex topics to diverse international audiences.
