About the role

  • Support a full range of Investor Relations functions including the communication of financial results to the Investment Community
  • Seek to continually improve processes and the quality of information provided by improving internal sources and using peer analysis
  • Work closely with senior management to help craft appropriate communications to external stakeholders
  • Work with Investor Relations leadership and takes on responsibility to develop external reports such as earnings press releases, investor meeting presentations, and rating agency meeting presentations
  • Take the lead in maintaining and updating all such investor presentations
  • Leads in the compilation of various internal management reports
  • Work with databases and other sources of information to update analyst estimates
  • Identify, document and ensure timely follow through on items resulting from internal and external interactions
  • Take the lead in complying with ESG rating agencies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Business, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 5 or more years accounting or finance experience
  • Sufficient exposure to insurance or reinsurance
  • Financial services sector experience through coursework, internships or work experience is an ideal asset
  • Project management experience is preferred
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Basic understanding of the US Life insurance and reinsurance
  • Commitment to pursue continued education related to the insurance/reinsurance sector
