About the role
- Investor Relations Analyst at RGA managing communications with financial stakeholders. Leading ESG reporting and compiling management reports while ensuring compliance within investor relations.
Responsibilities
- Support a full range of Investor Relations functions including the communication of financial results to the Investment Community
- Seek to continually improve processes and the quality of information provided by improving internal sources and using peer analysis
- Work closely with senior management to help craft appropriate communications to external stakeholders
- Work with Investor Relations leadership and takes on responsibility to develop external reports such as earnings press releases, investor meeting presentations, and rating agency meeting presentations
- Take the lead in maintaining and updating all such investor presentations
- Leads in the compilation of various internal management reports
- Work with databases and other sources of information to update analyst estimates
- Identify, document and ensure timely follow through on items resulting from internal and external interactions
- Take the lead in complying with ESG rating agencies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Business, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience
- 5 or more years accounting or finance experience
- Sufficient exposure to insurance or reinsurance
- Financial services sector experience through coursework, internships or work experience is an ideal asset
- Project management experience is preferred
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Basic understanding of the US Life insurance and reinsurance
- Commitment to pursue continued education related to the insurance/reinsurance sector
