About the role
- Analyst responsible for supporting the import process from origin to final delivery. Role includes documentation checks, ERP updates, and communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee import processes from origin to final delivery
- Conduct daily follow-ups with clients, customs brokers and logistics partners
- Verify documentation, product descriptions, NCM (Mercosur Common Nomenclature) and the need for an Import License (LI)
- Record and track processes in the ERP and update internal controls
- Monitor operational deadlines and ensure completion of each step
- Prepare control spreadsheets
- Post financial entries and manage payment controls
- Assist in the analysis of technical and tax documents
- Monitor filing of DI (Import Declaration) and/or DUIMP (Single Import Document)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in Foreign Trade, Business Administration, Logistics or related fields
- Knowledge of import processes
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
