About the role
- Contribute to projects that change the financial landscape for Canadians
- Build and maintain software in a microservice architecture
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver user-facing and platform features
- Write and maintain rigorous automated tests and frequently deploy code
- Take ownership of projects from start to finish and drive results
- Participate in intern programming including workshops, hackathons, and mentorship
- Work on a hybrid schedule from Toronto HQ on Wednesdays and Thursdays
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a student at a Canadian post-secondary institution or technical bootcamp
- New graduates - Within 6 months of your graduation date
- Available to work full-time hours
- Residing in Canada
- Able to commute to our Toronto HQ on Wednesdays and Thursdays
- Familiarity with microservice architectures and rigorous automated testing (desirable)
- Experience or interest in Ruby on Rails, Java/Kotlin, React, and AWS services (SQS, Kafka, S3) (desirable)
- Ability to take ownership, work autonomously, and iterate quickly
- Eagerness to learn, participate in mentorship, and collaborate across teams
