Responsibilities
You will gain insight into Universal Music’s digital music business and the workflows of a major record label
You will learn how strategic content marketing and digital music promotion work
You will develop comprehensive knowledge of best practices on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and other digital platforms
You will research music and lifestyle news about our artists online — content that fans are eager to see
Using your sense for trends and your willingness to try new ideas, you will conceptualize engaging photo and video content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and other digital platforms for our artists
You will create photo and video posts (e.g. artist interviews) using Photoshop and Premiere
You will support video productions and accompany us on shoots
You will prepare video uploads to YouTube, enter all relevant metadata in the system (e.g. video descriptions) and help maintain our music and artist channels
You will support communication with fans and followers on our social media channels
You will be responsible for regular performance analyses of our social media posts
Requirements
You are enrolled in a degree program in media, communication studies, design, business administration with a focus on marketing, or a comparable field
You have initial practical experience in social media or online marketing
You have very strong German language skills (written and spoken)
You have basic knowledge of Photoshop; ideally you also have experience with Premiere
You are passionate about trends and social media and can implement your ideas independently and with focus
With your responsible, reliable and independent working style, you quickly familiarize yourself with new tasks and systems
