About the role
- Intern in Service Außendienst supporting the installation of lab systems at Roche while gaining technical skills. Flexible work within Bavaria and training provided.
Responsibilities
- As an intern (m/f/d), you will support our staff in planning and installing our lab systems cobas® pro and cobas® pure, as well as in performing maintenance and modifications.
- You will also gain insight into the IT networking of our systems.
- A high degree of initiative, customer focus and technical aptitude are required during customer visits in various hospital and private laboratory settings.
- At the start, you will receive training on our cobas® immunology systems and will be accompanied in the field by a mentor.
- You will be deployed across the Bavaria region and may choose your place of residence freely within this area.
Requirements
- You are in a gap year or are studying in an engineering field (Medical Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering).
- You may already have initial experience in electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, IT interfaces and measurement technology.
- You are not only theoretically interested in technical issues but also demonstrate practical skills.
- You have an interest in IT topics (e.g., networking, firewalls).
- You are interested in field service and the diagnostics environment.
- You hold a Class B driving license and look forward to business trips within the regional service area with a company car provided by Roche, which may also be used privately.
- Very good, business-fluent German language skills are required for communication with our customers.
