About the role

  • Provide expertise, consultation, and recommend treasury solutions to business relationships in Retail banking
  • Act as a product partner for Retail including Managers, Relationship Bankers and others to ensure treasury management solutions are introduced to businesses
  • Direct client contact via phone/email/MS Teams within assigned coverage
  • Collaborate with the Inside Sales team on presentations, newsletters, trainings, and sales product presentations
  • Communicate via phone or email with businesses following Retail referral and create customized presentations based on analysis
  • Analyze existing services, usage patterns, design product group to meet needs, recommend additional treasury products, and suggest account structure changes
  • Pre-call preparation including research on the company and overall relationship
  • Handle communication for TM product updates or campaigns directly with customers and/or Retail
  • Review reports for cross-sell opportunities and perform proactive relationship reviews
  • Maintain sales generated ticket maintenance and ensure successful completion by TM Support teams
  • Manage onboarding: collect onboarding information, submit new product setup requests, obtain signed TM agreements, and manage workflow through implementation and training
  • Act as escalation point for complex issues including discovery, escalation, and resolution
  • Maintain accurate portfolio planning and tracking for revenue forecasting and goal measurement
  • Participate in special projects such as product usage analysis, product upgrades, and regulatory impact analysis
  • Primary focus on revenue-generating tasks and guiding Retail staff to appropriate resources within the bank

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years financial services experience, with prior sales experience preferred
  • Resourceful, with a sales mindset from initial conversation through implementation fully closing the deal
  • Proactively work on sales efforts and handle special projects when needed
  • Flexible adapting with changes, multitask various daily duties, possess a keen attention to detail, and effectively manage changing priorities
  • Work independently, gain and apply knowledge of Treasury Management solutions as well as navigate several information systems
