About the role
- Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer supporting FNZ platform integration and environment management at Lloyds Banking Group. Drive standardisation and collaborate with testing teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with testing teams and external providers to resolve issues and implement new functionality
- Work closely with testing and development teams in both organisations to manage environments
- Contribute to product roadmaps and drive standardisation across infrastructure services
- Apply best practices in environment management and support self-service capabilities
- Participate in learning and development initiatives to adopt modern engineering practices
- Help shape the future of infrastructure strategy within Platform Savings FNZ Lab
- Hands-on management of external platforms and their integration within LBG
Requirements
- FNZ Platform Knowledge – Experience with FNZ or similar infrastructure stacks is highly desirable
- Collaboration & Resilience – Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain a positive mindset
- Strategic Thinking – Capable of contributing to infrastructure strategy and continuous improvement
- Cloud Awareness – Working knowledge of GCP or other cloud platforms is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to work hybrid pattern: Full Time – 35 Hours per week; at least two days per week (or 40%) in Edinburgh office
- Hands-on experience managing external platforms and integrations
- Experience working with testing and development teams
