About the role

  • Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer supporting FNZ platform integration and environment management at Lloyds Banking Group. Drive standardisation and collaborate with testing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with testing teams and external providers to resolve issues and implement new functionality
  • Work closely with testing and development teams in both organisations to manage environments
  • Contribute to product roadmaps and drive standardisation across infrastructure services
  • Apply best practices in environment management and support self-service capabilities
  • Participate in learning and development initiatives to adopt modern engineering practices
  • Help shape the future of infrastructure strategy within Platform Savings FNZ Lab
  • Hands-on management of external platforms and their integration within LBG

Requirements

  • FNZ Platform Knowledge – Experience with FNZ or similar infrastructure stacks is highly desirable
  • Collaboration & Resilience – Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain a positive mindset
  • Strategic Thinking – Capable of contributing to infrastructure strategy and continuous improvement
  • Cloud Awareness – Working knowledge of GCP or other cloud platforms is beneficial but not essential
  • Ability to work hybrid pattern: Full Time – 35 Hours per week; at least two days per week (or 40%) in Edinburgh office
  • Hands-on experience managing external platforms and integrations
  • Experience working with testing and development teams
