About the role
- Infrastructure and AI Solution Architect designing and implementing robust technology infrastructures. Shaping the AI strategies for Camping World and driving Infrastructure and AI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, resilient cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions
- Define technical architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across multi-cloud and on-prem environments
- Design and implement scalable, resilient enterprise AI solutions
- Develop comprehensive architectural blueprints for AI systems, including data pipelines, model training and deployment, and integration with existing IT infrastructure.
- Create a strategic plan for how the Camping World’s infrastructure will evolve to meet future AI and ML needs, focusing on scalability, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
- Provide tools recommendation for AI and what direction the company should go with
- Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives and digital transformation projects
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system performance, security, and cost efficiency
- Research and develop standards, and tools for AI usage and implementation
- Meet with vendors and develop solutions that meet the organization requirements
- Meet with application and business units to develop robust infrastructure solutions and AI tools enablement solutions
- Maintain infrastructure solutions technology standards
- Work on infrastructure and AI roadmaps and strategy
- Develop infrastructure and AI architectural blueprints and detailed documentation
- Develop long term IT infrastructure and AI strategies aligned with business needs
- Monitor systems and suggest improvements proactively
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools
- Perform capacity planning and futureproofing
- Work closely with business leaders, project managers, developers, and operations teams
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to infrastructure teams and application teams
- Develop and maintain technical drawings for infrastructure and AI solutions
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data scientists, ML engineers, and other development teams, ensuring they follow architectural best practices.
- Work closely with business and product stakeholders to understand their goals and translate them into a viable, technical AI solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and project progress to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
- Implement design and solutions to enable AI enterprise-wide.
- Bridge the gap between research innovation and practical infrastructure and AI implementation
- Partner with product management to align infrastructure capabilities with AI objectives
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies for both infrastructure and AI applications
- Work closely with Cyber Security team to make sure security requirements are implemented in all infrastructure and AI solutions.
Requirements
- Masters/bachelor’s degree in information & computer science
- 7+ years of technical hands-on Infrastructure Architecture support.
- 5+ years of leading and managing teams.
- 5+ years of previous Infrastructure hands-on technical support
- 3+ years of Customer Service and Technical Leadership
- 2+ years of experience in AI tool and support
- 2+ years of developing and deploying Enterprise AI solutions
- Strong understanding of infrastructure and networking.
- Strong understanding of AI tools and technologies for enterprise use
- Strong troubleshooting skills for cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
- Strong experience in implementing and managing infrastructure solutions architectures
- Strong experience in deploying AI Architecture Enterprise wide
- Experience in successfully deploying infrastructure solutions designs
- Experience in successfully deploying Enterprise AI solutions designs
- Experience in supporting infrastructure, cloud and AI tools
- Experience and ability to effectively communicate complex technical solutions to C suite executives
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and AI concepts.
- Experience with model training, deployment (MLOps), and management.
- Extensive experience with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including their specific AI/ML and big data services.
- Understanding of how technology solutions impact business goals, and the ability to balance technical feasibility with business realities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical and business teams
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and guiding technical projects from concept to completion
- Strong infrastructure solution architecture experience in a diverse and large-scale enterprise environment.
