About the role
- Healthcare Technical Consultant responsible for customer relationships and technology implementation. Driving service strategies and project coordination in Northern Florida healthcare systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical recommendations based on customer requirements
- Support the transition from break fix model to customer solutions focused model
- Drive continuous improvement of implementation methodology and service offerings
- Actively participate as a member of the regional work team
- Collaborate with internal and external resources including clinical, sales, and service partners
- Coordinate project resources and tasks
- Perform all administrative duties within established regulatory requirements
- Install complex systems comprised of IT infrastructure and patient monitoring equipment
- Provide a technical review of system configuration during implementations
- Diagnose and resolve electronic, networking, and mechanical problems
- Approximately 70% travel across Northern Florida area required
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional working experience in the IT technologies or electronics industry
- Experience in a field or hospital-based service environment
- Experience with patient monitoring, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators highly preferred
- Network configuration and/or troubleshooting experience
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification (or required to obtain within 6 months from beginning of employment)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, biomedical, or other related disciplines or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to perform minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation
