Responsibilities
Oversee daily cash management, liquidity planning, and bank account structures.
Maintain strong relationships with banking partners to ensure optimal financing terms and service quality.
Manage working capital, intercompany funding, and short- to medium-term financing.
Implement and maintain treasury policies, internal controls, and risk management processes for FX, interest, and counterparty exposures.
Drive process improvement and automation in treasury operations.
Manage direct and indirect tax compliance and reporting across jurisdictions.
Oversee tax accounting, filings, and documentation, including transfer pricing.
Monitor legislative changes and assess their business implications.
Coordinate with external advisors and manage tax audits or rulings.
Provide tax guidance on business projects, restructurings, and transactions.
Manage the corporate insurance program, including property, liability, product, transport, and D&O coverage.
Lead annual renewals, negotiations, and claims management.
Identify and assess potential insurable risks and ensure adequate global coverage.
Lead and develop a small Treasury & Tax team, fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with the CFO, Finance, Legal, HR, and Operations teams to ensure aligned financial governance.
Engage with external partners such as banks, insurers, and auditors to ensure effective collaboration and transparency.
Requirements
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Law; professional qualifications such as ACT, Swiss Certified Treasurer, or Certified Tax Expert are an advantage.
10+ years of experience in Treasury, Tax, or related finance disciplines, ideally in an international corporate environment.
Proven expertise in cash management, financing, and tax compliance.
Solid understanding of insurance and financial risk management.
Experience leading small teams and managing cross-functional projects.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Hands-on, pragmatic approach suitable for a mid-sized, dynamic company.
