About the role

  • Leader of Operations managing multiple teams in a debt collection company. Collaborating with management on operational efficiency and quality processes in Cologne, Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the operational debt collection area, including multiple teams and team leaders
  • Ensure efficient, quality- and results-oriented day-to-day operations
  • Lead, coach and develop subordinate managers and staff
  • Continuously optimize processes, structures and systems (including digitization/automation)
  • Manage KPIs, reporting and derive measures to improve performance
  • Work closely with executive management and manage interfaces with internal departments and external partners

Requirements

  • Several years of leadership experience in debt collection/receivables management or a comparable service-oriented environment
  • Strong expertise in operational control, process management and KPI-driven performance management
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, decisiveness and strong execution capability
  • Confident communicator at all levels, professional presence and strong customer/service orientation
  • Proficient with MS Office and, ideally, familiar with common collections/ERP systems
