About the role

• Head of Finance leading Finance and BI team at Civey, ensuring financial health and strategies. Responsibility includes budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• You lead our Finance team and are the primary point of contact for all financial matters.
• You are responsible for budgeting, forecasting, reporting and liquidity management, translating numbers into clear recommendations for the executive team.
• You further develop our financial strategy and ensure that Civey operates in a financially healthy and future-proof manner.
• You oversee preparatory financial and payroll accounting, manage the collaboration with our tax advisory firm, and ensure smooth monthly and annual closings.
• You are the contact person for tax authorities, auditors, banks and lawyers on financial or corporate law matters.
• Together with the BI team, you optimize existing processes, actively drive automation and digitalization in finance, and establish best practices.
• You support strategic decisions with clear financial analyses and, together with the BI team, develop solutions for sustainable growth.
• You lead your team collaboratively, nurture individual strengths and create opportunities for development.

Requirements

• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in finance or accounting, plus experience in a leadership role.
• You have a comprehensive understanding of controlling, reporting and accounting and work both analytically and hands-on.
• You think entrepreneurially, make data-driven decisions and enjoy designing processes.
• You communicate clearly, lead with respect and are able to coordinate important decisions.
• You have experience with DATEV, HubSpot or other CRM/BI tools and are fluent in German and English.
