About the role
- Group Lead Commercial Counsel providing strategic legal leadership in consumer and fair competition areas at Verisure. Collaborating with country counsel across Europe's operations while ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal advice and leadership on consumer areas
- Lead and develop consumer and fair competition programme
- Collaborate with Verisure country counsel on regulatory inquiries
- Monitor consumer and fair competition enforcement cases
- Develop strategy for engagement with external stakeholders
- Lead fair competition legal strategy for the Group
- Support country Heads of Legal on antitrust and unfair commercial practices
- Conduct internal audits and implement compliance programmes
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer in a European jurisdiction
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of EU consumer protection and fair competition legislation
- Practical experience of its implementation in at least one of Verisure’s European operating countries
- Experience from consumer protection related litigation and enforcement actions of national consumer protection authorities
- Adaptability to thrive in dynamic environments
- Pragmatic approach to the legal function
- Proven track record of leading projects
- High EQ and level of judgment
