About the role
- Legal Counsel providing commercial outcomes for Perk’s revenue-generating deals and advising on complex supply arrangements. Joining a team focused on trust-based relationships and innovation in legal practices.
Responsibilities
- Drive standards in commercial contracting across our global team
- Be responsible and accountable for Corporate matters delegated to you by our Chief Legal Officer — Perk is a ‘start-up for grown-ups’ and, so long as you adhere to our corporate values, you’ll be given very wide latitude to run things as you see fit
- Proactively and holistically identify areas of risk, and take appropriate action to mitigate risk in collaboration with accountable team members
- Investigate, implement, and tune policy to support global business governance and compliance — using a process-minded approach and the latest technology to improve efficiency and speed-to-market
- Interact with external lawyers and advisors within the framework of Perk’s legal panel
- Develop close relationships with key business stakeholders across our global offices, acting as a business partner to understand needs and objectives, and build legal outcomes accordingly
Requirements
- Legal qualification: Qualified lawyer (Abogado/a) admitted to practice in Spain
- Language: Minimum C1 level fluency in both Spanish and English
- Commercial expertise: Demonstrable experience in commercial contracting, whether in a high-throughput commercial department of a law firm or an in-house legal team
- Experience: Candidates with 2–5 years PQE are likely to have the relevant skills, knowledge, and self-confidence for this position, but we will consider any applicant with relevant experience
- Right to work: Candidates must have an existing right to work in Spain
