Responsibilities
Manager, Healthcare and Well-being Strategy, is a visionary leader responsible for designing and optimizing innovative strategies that advance General Motors’ health and well-being objectives
Develop and oversee the execution of multi-year strategic plans targeting healthcare and well-being improvements
Lead the identification of emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges in healthcare and employee well-being
Align healthcare and wellness strategies with GM's business goals, values, and culture
Design, launch, and manage comprehensive health and wellness programs
Establish metrics for program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
Engage with external partners such as healthcare providers, insurance carriers, wellness consultants, and community organizations
Analyze health and wellness data to identify opportunities for improvement and demonstrate program impact
Serve as a thought leader and mentor to staff and cross-functional team members
Develop and manage budgets for healthcare and wellness initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, human resources, business, finance, or related field required
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in healthcare strategy, employee well-being, wellness program management, or a related field
Experience in value-based healthcare arrangements, non-occupational health onsite or near-site clinics, healthcare and pharmacy design and innovation
Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical abilities
Strong project management and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets and vendor relationships
Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with experience using relevant software and tools
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices
Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills
High degree of professionalism, discretion, and ethical standards.
