About the role

Responsibilities
- Creating and editing spatial data and mapping products and performing geospatial analyses in support of our service lines and key areas of work
- Supporting regulatory approval and compliance across a variety of sectors
- Generating, editing, and maintaining relational geospatial databases
- Assist in updating and maintaining mapping standards and work processes
- Supporting the creation and editing of mapping products in the AutoCAD environment (workload dependent)
- At times, supporting field activities as a field second (workload dependent)
Requirements
- Possess an undergraduate degree in a related discipline or technical diploma
- 1-7 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop software suite and extensions
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro
- An ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, regulations, drawings and job specifications
- Have a keen eye for cartographic design and the capability to produce high quality cartographic products
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work well in a team atmosphere
- Experience in the following would be considered an asset: Setting up ESRI Field Maps and Survey 123 data collection services, ESRI Enterprise Geodatabases, ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal) / Online, FME or ESRI model builder, Acquiring or processing UAV imagery, Working on pipeline projects, AutoCAD Map or Civil 3D, GIS Programming experience using technology such as Python, JavaScript, C#, SQL, and related skills, Field experience (along with applicable certifications), Experience in a similar role, Experience in project planning and coordination
