About the role
- Principal Consultant leading GenAI solutions for clients at a New Zealand technology company. Shaping strategy and delivering impactful AI solutions using advanced technologies in a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver intelligent GenAI solutions using Azure OpenAI, AI Search, and Microsoft 365.
- Lead discovery workshops, shape strategic roadmaps, and build business cases.
- Prototype and deliver PoCs, demos, and reusable accelerators.
- Advise on Responsible AI, privacy, and compliance.
- Collaborate across teams to uplift capability and share knowledge.
- Engage in pre-sales and client-facing activities to showcase GenAI’s potential.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, and agent frameworks.
- Experience with API/SDK integration across systems including tool‑calling and agent frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI Functions.
- Strong coding skills (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#).
- Experience integrating GenAI into enterprise systems and workflows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
