About the role

  • Create ISO26262 Safety Management work products such as Safety Plan and Safety Case
  • Create structured, systematic techniques such as Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA)
  • Develop functional safety concepts and technical safety concepts for engine and aftertreatment systems
  • Contribute to development of safety processes and culture within Powertrain Controls department
  • Perform safety analyses including FTA, FMEA and DFA on different architecture levels
  • Coordinate with all development teams on task planning and technical activities
  • Contribute to overall safety of TRATON Group vehicles by working on technical and process-related activities for powertrain control systems

Requirements

  • Experience in functional safety and leading technical development
  • Knowledge and application of ISO26262 (parts 4, 5, and 6)
  • Experience with safety analyses such as HARA, FTA, FMEA, DFA
  • Knowledge of safety monitors in software and hardware (plus)
  • Interest in programming (Python) and knowledge of engines and vehicles (advantageous)
  • Graduate engineer (degree required)
  • Fluent in English; ability to speak Swedish or willingness to learn
  • C/D driver's license seen as beneficial
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and ability to manage multiple deliveries
  • Ability to drive topics independently
