About the role

  • Freelance KIS Administrator focusing on telematics infrastructure and medical technology for a digitization project. Responsible for project management and ensuring reliable operation of KIS IMEDONE.

Responsibilities

  • Project management and telematics subproject leadership in funded projects (concept development, customizing, integration testing, and rollout support)
  • Operation, maintenance, and further development of the telematics infrastructure (TI)
  • Implementation and user support for telematics value-added services (ePA, eRezept, eAU, etc.)
  • System administration and application support
  • Ensuring the smooth and secure operation of the hospital information system (KIS IMEDONE) with a focus on high availability
  • Customizing and optimization of the KIS
  • Implementation and execution of individual medical workflows
  • Maintenance and further development of the communication server (Cloverleaf)
  • Fault analysis, maintenance, and implementation of new interfaces
  • Medical device integration and support
  • Organizing the connection of medical devices to the KIS and troubleshooting issues
  • Coordinating technical requirements with manufacturers
  • Implementation of medical device interfaces
  • Support for medical devices such as spot monitors, ultrasound, and ECG systems
  • Quality management and statistics
  • Coordination and delivery of DeQS statistics
  • Creation of complex reports within the KIS
  • Training and support
  • Conducting introductions and training for new and modified systems
  • Training new staff
  • Support in hardware and software environments as well as analysis and resolution of issues

Requirements

  • Several years of experience as a KIS administrator or IT application support specialist in a hospital environment
  • Solid knowledge of telematics infrastructure (TI) and medical technology
  • Proven experience with the IMEDONE KIS system
  • Knowledge of interface technologies (communication servers)
  • Basic skills in SQL, reporting, and quality management (DeQS)
  • Structured, analytical working style and strong service orientation
