About the role
- Founding Engineer developing automation solutions for a PropTech startup. Designing scalable systems and collaborating with founders on architecture and tech strategy.
Responsibilities
- Automation Engine entwickeln: Design und Implementierung von End-to-End-Automatisierungen in Bereichen wie Buchhaltung, Rechnungsfreigabe, Kommunikation und Property Management – inkl. Monitoring, Logging und Fehlerhandling
- Systemarchitektur & Tech Stack: Aufbau einer skalierbaren, modularen Plattform-Architektur (API-first, Microservices, event-driven), die ERP, CRM, Dokumentenmanagement und digitale Eigentümerportale integriert. Fokus auf Security, Skalierbarkeit und Wartbarkeit
- Schnittstellen & Integrationen: Entwicklung robuster REST-/GraphQL-APIs, Datenpipelines (ETL/ELT), Webhooks und Integrationen zu Drittsystemen. Sicherstellung von Datenintegrität und Synchronisierung
- KI-Modelle entwickeln: Aufbau produktiver LLM- und ML-Features (z. B. Dokumentenklassifizierung, Predictive Maintenance, AI-Assistenten) inkl. Prompt Engineering, Fine-Tuning und Deployment
- Cloud & Infra: Aufbau und Betrieb einer Cloud-Umgebung (AWS/GCP/Azure), CI/CD-Pipelines, Datenbanken (SQL/NoSQL), Authentifizierung und Rechteverwaltung
- Produkt + Tech-Strategy: Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Gründern – du entscheidest über Architektur, Tools, Frameworks und setzt technische Standards (Clean Code, Testing, Code Reviews, DevOps-Prozesse)
Requirements
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Software Engineering (Python, TypeScript/Node.js oder vergleichbar)
- Starke Kenntnisse in APIs, Datenpipelines, Automatisierung, Cloud-Infrastruktur
- Erste Erfahrung mit KI/LLM-Modellen und Lust, diese in produktive Features zu überführen
- Freude daran, Systeme von Grund auf aufzubauen und pragmatisch in Produktion zu bringen
