About the role
- Work directly with clients to tackle technical challenges and implement production-ready solutions.
- Own and lead client-specific adapter development and implementation in customer environments.
- Coordinate end-to-end technical delivery for specific clients, including technical calls, reviews, and sign-offs.
- Translate client business constraints into technical specifications and collaborate on feasible implementation strategies.
- Make architectural decisions within defined scope and escalate platform-level concerns to Principal Engineers.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams, product owners, and team leads on feature guidance, prioritization, and validation.
- Work with infrastructure teams on deployments, release validation, multi-tenancy design, and deployment strategy.
- Travel to client sites as needed (<20% travel) and manage the complete technical relationship with clients.
- Contribute field insights to product development, push for reusable solutions, and document best practices for knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Proficiency in general-purpose programming languages and scripting (current stack includes TypeScript and Go) and ability to contribute to client-specific adapters through data mapping, API integrations and tenant configuration.
- Experience debugging cloud-native environments (relational databases, Kubernetes, durable execution (Temporal), logs, and traces).
- Ownership mindset and accountability for client success.
- Excellent communication skills for technical calls and client interactions.
- Collaborative approach to working with both internal teams and external clients.
- Ability to translate technical constraints into business requirements and vice versa.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound escalation judgment.
- Proven track record in client-facing roles preferred; candidates with strong technical skills and frontline interest welcome.
- Consulting, agency, or startup background is an advantage.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in rapidly changing environments.
- Background in production environment implementation and troubleshooting.
- Abu Dhabi-based permanent role preferred, or remote contractor within UTC+1 to UTC+4 with willingness to travel to client sites (<20% travel).
