About the role

  • Financial Planning Analyst supporting financial reporting and budget analysis at iyzico. Collaborating across functions for accurate financial forecasts and reports in a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly reporting activities and verify the accuracy of financial data
  • Take active role in preparation of monthly financial reports & presentations submitted to global Headquarters
  • Perform a detailed budget variance analysis vs Plan/Forecast/ Previous year with quality explanation and commentary
  • Work closely with all functions to make sure CAPEX/OPEX is well controlled within budget, analyze the variance between budget and actual spending
  • Elicit the communication with other departments and Global Headquarters
  • Contribute to the preparation of future looking financial forecasts via analysing the current data and effectively managing the planning process
  • Take place in the departments' budget and planning processes
  • Support preparation of business plans, monthly and rolling forecasts of the company
  • Improve the quality of reports to drive speed and accuracy of reports and optimize reporting process
  • Ensure both routine and ad-hoc finance data requests are prepared accurately, submitted timely and with the highest level of quality
  • Research, analyzes, reconcile, and validate a variety of data sets and information to inform business decisions
  • Perform other ad-hoc analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
  • At least 3-4 years of professional experience preferably in budget and reporting department
  • Audit background is a strong asset
  • Proven ability to work under strict deadlines and multitasking and prioritize main duties
  • Ability to recognize problems, gather data, draw valid conclusions, and effectively present information to managers, peers, and other organizations within the Company
  • Ability to research technical accounting issues and communicate relevant conclusions Strong organization skills and ability to work accurately and independently
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Must have extremely strong MS Excel skills and strong MS Power Point
  • Experience in various ERPs and Accounting applications is a plus (Logo)
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills
