- Financial Institutions Claims Advocate providing strategic claims coverage advice for FI clients. Collaborating with overseas Marsh offices and supporting the retention and acquisition of clients through advisory services.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with FI clients, overseas Marsh offices and other colleagues in providing strategic, technical, and tactical claims coverage advice
- Demonstrate technical ability, market knowledge and the personality to build relationships with new and existing clients
- Guide clients through complex insurance claims as an advocate on behalf of Marsh clients with insurers
- Contribute to thought leadership on issues affecting FI clients
- Provide training for placing and claims colleagues
- Provide support to the wider FI team through the feedback of claims intelligence to product development colleagues
Requirements
- Experience of resolving complex financial and professional lines insurance claims ideally involving FI insureds
- Claims management experience
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
