About the role

  • Manager of Operations Finance at Walmart driving financial planning and analysis to support business performance and decision-making. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing P&L for operational areas.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic insight and support core operational run-the-business routines through detailed analysis, modeling, and recommending expense targets.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze business performance and communicate significant financial variations.
  • Own partnerships with regional field leadership and manage P&L of an area of our business.
  • Captain membership in Operations Finance and dive into key insights of how to improve the member experience in our clubs in partnership with other Finance teams.
  • Develop financial models and presentations to support business decisions and communicate forecasts to senior management.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify performance gaps, support budgeting, and provide insights on trends and risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 2 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area OR 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area.
  • Proven expertise in financial analysis, planning, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Strong management skills with experience leading teams and developing talent.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and senior management.
  • Experience in creating financial models and presentations to guide business performance and risk mitigation.
  • Aptitude for identifying improvement opportunities and driving continuous learning and process enhancements.
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on building strong relationships and accountability.
