About the role

  • Take ownership of the accounts receivable and credit control function
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding debts
  • Accurate maintenance of the sales ledger
  • Effective credit control procedures
  • Contribute towards the development and implementation of the Council’s financial strategy
  • Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure best use of limited financial resources

Requirements

  • CCAB (preferably CIPFA), CIMA, CFA, ACT foundations stage (stage 1) completed or equivalent
  • Experience using Oracle - Desirable
