About the role
- Finance Manager handling technical accounting and regulatory guidance at Crypto.com. Conducting research, providing support, and maintaining accounting policies for the group.
Responsibilities
- Conducting in-depth research on critical accounting issues, market trends, and regulatory updates and performing financial, cash flow and income statement analyses to assess the impact of new accounting standards or regulations.
- Provide guidance on business processes and internal controls related to accounting and regulatory changes.
- Providing technical support to the finance team in relation to complex accounting issues.
- Revise and maintain the group’s accounting policies to align with the latest accounting standards.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication on accounting topics.
- Undertake additional tasks assigned to support business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business required; advanced degrees or CPA certification preferred.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting/technical accounting; prior audit experience is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Proficient in advanced Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial instrument valuation is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical, project management, presentation, and communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
