About the role

  • Finance & Accounting Associate responsible for payroll tasks in a leading HR tech company. Processing accounts payable and ensuring compliance with financial policies in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts and payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
  • Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
  • Handle purchasing process
  • Generate reports detailing accounts payable status
  • Prepare weekly disbursements to employees and suppliers
  • Journalize and post to Xero/NetSuite of daily transactions
  • Responsible in managing and documenting of files
  • Other tasks as may be assigned

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s / College Degree, Finance/ Accountancy
  • 1 year experience in bookkeeping or Accounts Payables is an advantage but Fresh Graduates are also welcome
  • Adept in Accounting software (Quickbooks, Xero or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel
  • Organized, team player and can work with minimum supervision
  • Must be keen to details and possesses dynamic personality
