About the role
- Accountant responsible for debtor and creditor accounting and engaging in various accounting operations. Collaborating in a numbers-focused environment within a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for accounts receivable or accounts payable accounting and other operational accounting tasks
- Assist in validating incoming invoices/credit notes
- Responsible for processing postings and invoice corrections
- Maintain master data for customer and supplier partners
- Monitor open items and process dunning/payment reminders
- Support preparation of documents for monthly and annual financial statements
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or equivalent, ideally specializing in accounting, financial accounting or finance
- Practical experience in accounting or related areas; passion for numbers
- Good communication skills as well as a reliable and independent way of working
- Open to new processes and topics; interest in taking on new tasks and responsibilities
- Confident user of Office applications — especially Excel — and experience with accounting software, ideally DIAMANT
