About the role
- Field Service Technician role for Reiser in the food equipment industry. Installing and maintaining machinery while traveling to customer sites in the southeast.
Responsibilities
- Join a team with over 60 years of success in the food equipment industry.
- Install new packaging and processing machinery and perform routine maintenance and on-site repairs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues by applying your expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
- Spend approximately 60-80% of your time traveling within the southeast to visit food production facilities.
- Train customers in preventive maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly and effectively.
- Participate as necessary in new projects to install or improve the safety and performance of new equipment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
- Food processing or packaging machinery experience is a plus.
- Customer-focused mindset.
- Comfortable with 60-80% travel during the week – mostly on in the southeast by automobile or plane.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills is an added bonus.
