About the role

  • Senior ERISA compliance professional guiding compliance strategies and mentoring colleagues in Retirement Plan Services. Acting as a thought leader in compliance for new services and product development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop ERISA compliance colleagues, fostering expertise and collaboration.
  • Provide senior-level guidance on regulatory compliance to management, sales, and product teams.
  • Analyze new and proposed legislation to recommend strategies and implementation plans.
  • Partner with business leaders to review and approve new plan opportunities, ensuring compliance and risk alignment.
  • Direct operational defect resolution, including corrective actions and voluntary correction program filings.
  • Oversee plan restatements and amendments to ensure alignment with sponsor intentions and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a senior advisor and thought leader on new services and product development, ensuring compliance with ERISA and DOL regulations.
  • Represent Retirement Plan Services on risk and compliance committees, driving informed decisions and influencing best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field required
  • 12+ years of ERISA and qualified plan administration experience required
  • Juris Doctor (JD) preferred
  • Professional certifications such as CRPS, ASPPA, CEBS, or PRP preferred
  • License to Practice Law preferred
