Environmental Health and Safety Manager leading EHS compliance and safety initiatives at Boston Beer Company. Overseeing programs to enhance workplace safety and regulatory adherence at Milton Brewery.
Responsibilities
Provide EHS leadership, support, direction, accountability, and responsiveness for the Milton Brewery
Lead compliance, security, ergonomic, environmental, and industrial hygiene programs across the brewery and hospitality locations
Lead EHS program development and execution for the Milton Brewery
Workers Compensation oversight, including reporting, case management, and oversight of all incidents
Strengthen site EHS culture through coworker engagement, ownership and accountability, behavior-based safety efforts, and other process improvement initiatives
Provides EHS coworker orientation, EHS training, and all required EHS regulatory reporting
Conduct compliance audits and reviews necessary to meet company and local compliance requirements to reduce risk liability
Implement and oversee the execution of Brewery EHS programs/processes to fully comply with applicable laws and regulations
Drive EHS compliance through training, audits, process/equipment review, and proactive risk elimination and institute site injury prevention program to include hazard analysis, JSA, incident/accident investigations, trend analysis, etc
As needed, maintain and promote good working relationships with all local, state, and Federal regulatory agencies
Requirements
Minimum of (5) years of EHS experience in an industrial setting
Demonstrated ability to create and execute safety programs that engage coworkers and enable a safe work culture
Strong track record of leading continuous improvement in functional areas
Strong understanding of and ability to manage systems under applicable regulatory controls – local, state and federal
Demonstrated experience in Root Cause investigation
Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist (Comprehensive Practice preferred), and/or Certified Environmental Professional (preferred)
Six Sigma Green Belt Certified (preferred)
Demonstrated success receiving a range of environmental permits (preferred)
Experience building and implementing a sustainability program (preferred)
