In this role you will further develop the risk management systems for the international ALDI SÜD Group, aligned with international standards (ISO, COSO)
You will operate a process to identify risks, assign ownership and monitor the status of mitigation measures
Your responsibilities include analyzing and assessing the effectiveness of established internal control systems
You will work on further integrating the 3-Lines Model and managing interfaces with related management systems (e.g., ISMS, ESG Compliance, BCM)
In addition, you will support the selection and implementation of a global integrated Risk Management software solution
You will analyze and introduce appropriate quantitative risk measurement approaches to determine risk appetite and risk-bearing capacity
You will conduct focused risk assessments that inform business decisions (e.g., property risk assessment)
You will be responsible for developing policies, standards, procedures, controls and training materials within your area of responsibility
Providing reports on the group-wide risk portfolio to senior management completes your field of responsibility
Requirements
You have an academic degree in Business, Risk, Finance or a related field
As a Risk Management Expert you have at least 5 years of experience in a risk management related function (e.g., Enterprise Risk, ICAAP, Compliance, Information Security, Business Continuity)
You are highly familiar with risk management methodologies and systems
An analytical mindset and the ability to work independently on complex issues are a matter of course for you
Excellent communication, interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills set you apart
You are fluent in English; German language skills would be beneficial
