About the role
- Achieve sales quotas for named accounts by developing sales strategy, target prospect list, and regional plan
- Develop marketing plans with the marketing team to drive revenue growth
- Serve as trusted advisor by understanding customers' roadmaps to drive Anyscale solution
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams
- Arrange and conduct initial Executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings
- Manage sales process and close opportunities
- Ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue
- Use solution-based selling and manage complex sales process
- Carry technical conversations about data, compute, and ML topics
Requirements
- 5+ years of full cycle sales experience selling software or cloud based applications
- Emphasis on ML, cloud, and SaaS is desired
- Track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement
- Experience determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions
- Ability to negotiate and close agreements with clients
- Proactive, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environment
- Some understanding of the data, compute, ML space and ability to carry a technical conversation
- Willingness to be in-person at SF or Palo Alto office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
