IES Specialist providing front line support for Meta’s data tools and engineering productivity. Collaborating with Data Engineers and Software Engineers in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
Work closely with Data Engineers, Software Engineers, and Data Infrastructure Engineers.
Work closely with Meta’s internal engineering teams supporting key enterprise applications and development platforms.
Serve as the first point of contact for resolving engineering inquiries and requests.
Act as a subject matter expert on various products and tools to aid and improve Meta’s engineering productivity.
Leverage the knowledge and experience for continuous improvement of Meta’s products and platforms.
Communicate (verbally / writing posts), build strong relationships with our partner teams, and deliver quality service.
Requirements
BSc/Associate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field
Experience with data analytics or log validation tools (e.g., Splunk, Tableau, Grafana, or similar)
Familiarity with mobile debugging tools (e.g., Flipper, Android Studio, Xcode debugger)
Solid programming skills in at least one of: Python, C++, PHP, JavaScript, Java, or Swift
Willingness to learn new tools and technologies as part of onboarding.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building with a diverse, global, and cross-functional team
Basic fluency with development tools (Python, SQL, PHP, JavaScript, or similar)
Ability to work in rapidly changing environment and quickly learn new technologies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a clear focus under pressure
Ability to rapidly assess, analyze, and resolve/troubleshoot issues and distill into clear and concise communications
