Responsibilities
Responsibilities in the field of shipboard utility/supply systems, including heating systems, fresh water systems (including generation), wastewater systems (including treatment), drainage, bilge, ballast and fire-fighting systems, special extinguishing systems (gas, water mist, sprinkler, foam, monitors) and compressed air systems
Development of technical concepts and preparation of specifications for approval and procurement processes
Design and calculations of ship service/operational systems
Creation and maintenance of schematic piping diagrams based on construction specifications and classification rules in collaboration with our product design team
Technical coordination with customers and suppliers, evaluation of offers and preparation of decision proposals
Technical risk and cost assessment
Collaboration with other design departments and with production/manufacturing
Requirements
Completed technical or scientific degree or technician certification (m/f/d)
Professional experience in the field and, ideally, experience with integration in shipbuilding
Proficiency in using CAD software for schematic creation and good MS Office skills
Good written and spoken English with technical competence in the field
Confident presence, ability to work independently, assertiveness, and strong communication and teamwork skills
