About the role

  • Perform quantitative assessment of risks associated with gas transmission and gas storage assets
  • Support the management of stakeholders’ requests including problem definition, data collection
  • Collaborate with senior team members on continuous improvements of assessment tools
  • Drive PI-Core Process implementation and other critical risk decisions
  • Develop and maintain processes, procedures, and work instructions under supervision of Senior Engineers and Specialists
  • Contribute to industry publications and technical reports to support industry advancement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • A Professional Engineer designation (Canadian candidates)
  • A minimum of 4 years of technical experience in Risk Management related to Oil & Gas transmission pipelines
  • Knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 192, ASME B31.8S, CSA Z662, OSHA 1910.119, Z767, API 1173, ISO 3100 and other industry regulations and standards
  • Knowledge and experience applying reliability & risk assessment methodologies
  • Experience with programming languages like VBA in Excel, Python
  • Proficiency in GIS Tools, SQL, Excel, Pivot Tables and Power Bi
  • Strong technical writing skills
