Responsibilities
Assist in the creation of technical requirements, interface control documents, and statements of work (SOWs) for integrated propulsion subsystems.
Support design layout, analysis, and installation of related subsystems, ensuring alignment with operational, maintenance, safety, and performance requirements.
Collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, controls, and systems engineering specialists to ensure seamless integration of propulsion components into the overall aircraft architecture.
Contribute to trade studies, design reviews, and optimization activities for subsystem packaging, routing, and interface definition.
Support system-level integration testing, verification, and validation efforts to confirm compliance with design intent and certification requirements.
Maintain strong alignment with program schedules, configuration management practices, and system safety objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 6 years of experience in integration design within aerospace or a related high-technology industry.
Solid understanding of electric propulsion systems, including motors, inverters, power distribution, and thermal management.
Demonstrated experience with system integration, interface definition, and cross-disciplinary coordination.
Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment focused on overall program success.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
