About the role

Responsibilities
- Assist the team with developing, designing and planning power distribution and lighting systems
- Conduct kick-off meetings with design team, clients and owner to develop a scope of work
- Perform site visits to determine existing conditions and document all associated systems
- Layout, size, and specify required equipment
- Produce load calculations
- Attend meetings and clearly communicate with clients
- Coordinate and interact with all other trades
- Meet deadlines as assigned
- Work well with other designers, engineers and other project managers
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Building Systems Design
- Familiarity with applicable codes (NEC), regulations, and project delivery expectations
- Working knowledge of Revit (preferred), MEP Building System Design and/or AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of the electrical engineering discipline
- Ability to provide immediate support for a fast paced department
- Self-motivated, ability to learn quickly, accept responsibilities and take on new challenges as presented.
