About the role

  • Lead Integrated Business Planning (IBP), owning end-to-end execution of pre-season and in-season planning cycles.
  • Integrate ideas and insights gathered from Global Leadership meetings, taking responsibility for explaining outcomes and findings, as well as outlining plans for improvement before the next planning cycle.
  • Scale transformation portfolio, provide mid-to-long-term oversight for the IBP workstream and take on leadership for additional programs over the long run, which could entail, for example, GTM redesign, AI and GenAI acceleration, and other enterprise initiatives.
  • Partner with Global and Regional leadership and Heads of Planning across AMERICAS, EMEA, and APAC for key brands (The North Face, Timberland, Vans, and in the long term smaller brands) to develop capabilities for use cases from buying optimization to markdown management.
  • Optimize processes and capabilities, assess and improve workflows, cross-functional collaboration, decisioning activities, and technology enablement to deliver measurable value across brands.
  • Oversee project/product managers to advocate business adoption of various tools and systems, including machine learning-based forecasting; analyzing and monitor forecast accuracy, lead root cause analyses, and continuously refine models and integrations.
  • Leverage feedback to inform and improve future rollouts and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with leadership across data & technology functions to align strategic roadmaps and ensure value delivery through tool usage.
  • Manage technology interdependencies and risks, Identify and communicate dependencies and overlaps between IBP and other transformation programs; escalate risks and lead stakeholder mitigation actions.
  • Sustain governance and change forums, maintain recurring decision forums (Capability Forums, Business Reviews, etc.) to ensure consistent accountability and timely decision making.
  • Lead and develop delivery teams, manage product/project managers cross regionally and 2–4 workstream managers; prioritize backlog, remove impediments, and ensure on-time delivery of critical enhancements.
  • Ensure value capture and financial alignment, Track capability adoption and business impact, partner with Finance to validate budgets, quantify benefits, and report value realization.
  • Communicate with senior leadership, produce executive-level updates, facilitate sponsor check-ins, and present progress, risks, and opportunities to the Senior Director and other senior stakeholders.
  • Embed best practices and enablement, create training, playbooks, and on-the-job programs to institutionalize IBP practices and support regional rollouts of new tools and processes.
  • Oversee extra workstreams and capability builds, stand up programs and project teams to implement and enable business priorities and ensure delivery against milestones.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in consumer-facing, fast-paced companies with transformation/PMO leadership in global settings.
  • Proven track record driving cost-savings, digital or transformation programs; system implementations and capability rollouts preferred.
  • Retail/apparel/footwear experience or familiarity with planning, merchandising, buying preferred.
  • Managed small teams (2–5) with responsibility for priorities and performance.
  • Comfortable with data science, ML, AI initiatives.
  • Bachelor's required; Master’s degree preferred.
