About the role

  • Lead and develop GHGSat’s team of Product Owners, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance oversight.
  • Build a high-performing product management discipline, standardizing tools, frameworks, and processes for roadmap execution and lifecycle management.
  • Drive collaboration between Product Strategy, Science, Engineering, and Product Marketing teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Champion customer-centric design and data-driven decision-making across the product organization.
  • Serve as Product Owner for the Climate Analytics vertical, defining the roadmap for analytical products and insights derived from GHGSat’s emissions data.
  • Lead the design and development of data solutions serving financial services, climate risk, and sustainability markets.
  • Translate market and customer needs into scalable product capabilities, focusing on predictive analytics, benchmarking, and data visualization.
  • Define success metrics and monitor product performance to ensure adoption, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with Science and Data Engineering to guide data modelling, ingestion, and transformation pipelines supporting climate analytics products.
  • Translate GHGSat’s corporate and segment strategies into actionable product roadmaps.
  • Evaluate business opportunities, competitive positioning, and emerging trends to refine product-market fit.
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle, from ideation through launch and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to enable go-to-market readiness, product messaging, and client onboarding.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on product performance, milestones, and ROI.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership capabilities and ability to inspire, guide, and develop cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of data-driven architectures, cloud analytics, and geospatial technologies.
  • Customer-centric mindset with proven success in balancing technical feasibility and business value.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including executive-level briefings.
  • Strategic, analytical, and outcome-oriented mindset with the ability to make informed trade-offs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, environmental science, or a related technical discipline.
  • 8–10+ years of experience in product management, data solutions, or analytics platforms, with at least 3 years leading a product team.
  • Demonstrated experience building or managing data analytics or intelligence products serving financial services, ESG, or climate risk sectors.
  • Strong familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), data APIs, and analytics workflows.
  • Experience working with satellite, environmental, or climate datasets is a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery frameworks and product management tools.
