Responsibilities
Define and implement operational systems that enable scale—supporting both our technology roadmap and team growth.
Collaborate closely with technical and product leaders to align processes with engineering realities.
Champion cross-functional alignment, helping the department scale smoothly and sustainably.
Anticipate challenges in growth and take proactive measures to ensure readiness.
Drive initiatives that help us make technical impact in the outside world—particularly in cybersecurity and defense applications.
Develop and execute strategies to foster a technical (open source) user base around our AI products.
Represent Openchip AI as a technical spokesperson—sharing our vision and progress with partners and the public.
Act as a strategic and technical interface for partnerships in cybersecurity, defense, and beyond.
Requirements
Proven leadership experience in technical operations, preferably in a fast-growing startup or innovation-driven environment.
Strong strategic thinking and execution skills—you see the big picture and know how to build towards it.
Experience working in or with technical teams; you understand their rhythms, challenges, and needs.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to connect the dots between tech, strategy, and people.
A passion for open source, AI, or cybersecurity is a major plus.
