About the role
- Director of Nursing overseeing nursing services for Tutera Senior Living & Health Care. Responsible for administration, quality standards, and 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and the total needs of the residents.
- Responsible for 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
- In the absence of the Administrator, will assume responsibility for center operations.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
- Two years of experience in a DON role required
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
