About the role

  • Director IT role shaping IT strategy for a leading service provider in service and craftsmanship. Leading ERP implementation and managing IT department in a dynamic growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • You design and own the IT strategy to enable increased scalability of the company’s buy-and-build growth strategy.
  • You manage a double-digit million euro budget and act as a strategic partner to C-level executives.
  • You lead the consolidation of a heterogeneous systems landscape into a central, company-wide ERP system and ensure smooth operations.
  • You lead and develop the IT department and act as a sparring partner for a team of IT specialists, including Digital Transformation, System Administration, Security, Data Engineering, Support and Project Management.
  • You establish robust IT governance that ensures SOX compliance, security and data protection.
  • You act as the central interface to all relevant stakeholders — from C-level executives to the management of partner companies.
  • A key focus is actively shaping post-merger integration, ensuring the IT-side integration of newly acquired companies.

Requirements

  • Several years of leadership experience in a senior IT role, ideally within dynamic, growth-oriented and decentralized organizational structures.
  • Proven strategic experience in international ERP rollouts (planning, coordination and implementation).
  • Solid knowledge of IT architectures, IT infrastructure, cloud services and IT governance.
  • You are a strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality, who acts entrepreneurially, works in a structured way and can confidently communicate complex matters to diverse international audiences.
